Yesterday afternoon, PCANC CEO, Sharon Hirsch, attended the Child Care Provider’s Reception at the North Carolina Executive Mansion alongside child care leaders and advocates from across the state.

We are grateful to hear remarks from Governor Josh Stein, Lieutenant Governor Rachel Hunt for North Carolina, Senator Jim Burgin, and the NC Department of Health and Human Services Director of the Division of Child Development and Early Education, Candace Witherspoon, who highlighted the vital role child care providers play in supporting children, families, and communities.
