⚽️ Welcome to the SONC family, Riley Jackson!

Special Olympics North Carolina is proud to announce Riley Jackson, midfielder for the North Carolina Courage and member of the 2026 U.S. Women’s National Team, as the first-ever SONC Community Ambassador!

The new Community Ambassador program brings together athletes, musicians and leaders who are passionate about using their platforms to champion inclusion and create opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.

Riley’s ambassadorship will kick off September 17 at WakeMed Soccer Park, where SONC, the NC Courage and local law enforcement partners will come together for an evening of Unified soccer focused on teamwork, connection and inclusion.

We’re excited to have Riley join us in showing how the power of sport can bring people together and create a community where everyone belongs. ❤️

Welcome to the Special Olympics movement, Riley! 👏
