A Historic Milestone — The Universal Temple in North Carolina, USA
With the grace of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda, and through the prayers, service, and generosity of devotees and friends, a long-cherished vision is steadily becoming a reality.
The Ramakrishna Vedanta Society of North Carolina has reached an important milestone in the development of its Universal Temple: the Phase 1 building contract has now been signed.
The project has already progressed through permitting, groundbreaking, site preparation, stormwater infrastructure, and completion of the septic system. The next major stage will bring the temple building itself into form.
Envisioned as a sacred home for worship, meditation, spiritual study, retreats, service , the universal ideals taught by Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, and Swami Vivekananda, this temple is being established in North Carolina, USA, for present and future generations.
We invite devotees, friends, and well-wishers around the world to join us in prayer as this sacred vision continues to unfold.
May this temple become a place where hearts are uplifted, lives are transformed, and the harmony of religions proclaimed by Sri Ramakrishna shines for generations to come.
