A quiet trail, a little creek, a wooden bridge, and the perfect spot to sit down, get some work done, and enjoy the peace.

Found my way back… but I’m not quite done wandering yet. 🥾🌳 More walking later. ❤️

If you’re looking for a peaceful walk in Raleigh, don’t overlook Lake Johnson. 🌲💙

One of my favorite things about Lake Johnson is how quickly the scenery changes. One minute you’re walking through the woods, the next you’re looking across the water — with plenty of hills in between. 😅

It’s become one of my favorite places for an early morning walk. The lake can be completely still, and if you get there at the right time, you might even catch the mist rising off the water.

Whether you’re here to walk, run, enjoy the lake, or simply get a little quiet time in nature, it’s a beautiful little escape without leaving Raleigh.

Would you rather walk the wooded trails 🌲 or stay by the water 💙?
