Received an email today about a Ride for Life event needing last minute assistance tomorrow. It is around Cayuga Lake to the west.
Sounds like this is a Tompkins event. Please email [email protected] or [email protected] if you can help out.
According to Andrew Slaugh (KB2LUV) who sent the info, the known vacant positions include:
State Route 34B @ Atwater Rd (0700 to 1030)
State Route 89 @ State Route 31 (0845 to 1330)
Gravel Rd @ State Route 5 & 20 (0920 to 1430)
Taughannock Park Rd @ Jacksonville Rd (1200 to 1700)

The Utica Amateur Radio Club, K2IQ will be holding its 2026 RadioCom Hamfest at the Clark Mills Firehouse Grounds on 7701 E. Main St, Clark Mills, NY 13321 on Saturday, July 25, 2026 beginning at 7 AM (setup) and 8 AM (open to public).
Admission is $5 including a free Flea Market Tailgate space. VE Testing on site will be available (9:00). Door Prizes will be awarded and refreshments will be available.
