Friends, alumni, supporters...
So many people who care deeply about this institution came together for an evening that was hard to put into words. The energy, the emotion, the sense of shared purpose. It was all there.
We had the privilege of honoring Jane & Mark Wilf with honorary doctorate degrees. We celebrated our alumna, Miriam Lipskier and Chabad of Emory for the remarkable work they're doing for Jewish students on campus. And in one of the most moving moments of the night, we presented the Alumni Leadership Award to Yanky Super, an RCA alumnus and Hatzalah EMT who was shot in the Bondi Beach terrorist attack. Eli B**r of United Hatzalah flew in from Israel just to be there.
This is what the Rabbinical College of America and Chabad of New Jersey is about. Real people. Real impact. Real Jewish life, strengthened and sustained.
