We need every voice, sign this petition to express your commitment to a democracy in the State of Israel.

Before there was a State of Israel, there was a people bound together by covenant. From Sinai through the generations, that covenant found expression in the teaching: כל ישראל ערבים זה בזה — Kol Yisrael arevim zeh bazeh — all Jews are responsible for one another (Shavuot 27b).

That sacred responsibility has carried our people through exile and return, persecution and renewal, grief and celebration. It reminds us that, across continents and differences, we share a common fate, destiny, and purpose.

The Reform*, Progressive, and Liberal Jewish Movements invites individuals and organizations from Jewish communities across the Diaspora (members of the Jewish Community who live outside of the State of Israel) to add their names to the statement below. Updated Dates: Forgetfulness in the Talmud

Join our rabbinic intern Zoe Dressner-Wolberg for a three-course exploration of forgetfulness in the imagination of our ancient rabbis. We will ask: How is memory loss understood by our tradition? What does it have to do with Shabbat? And, how does that relate to my own Jewish life and practice?

Class Dates: Tuesdays, October 20, 27, and November 3 at 7:00pm

Sisterhood Paid-Up Dinner: An Evening with Rabbi Hanna Yerushalmi
Sunday, October 25 at 5:30pm

This year’s Sisterhood Paid-Up Dinner offers something a little different: an inspiring evening with Rabbi Hanna Yerushalmi, a rabbi and therapist who uses poetry to explore the depth of our emotions and connections.

Rabbi Hanna will share her poetry and personal journey, inviting us to reflect on our ties to Israel, Jewish identity, and one another—and perhaps discover answers to questions we never thought to ask.

Free for Sisterhood members who have paid their dues | $20 for female non-members

Thank you to the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ for bringing us together on this important day.
