In many parts of New Jersey, deer populations are far above sustainable levels — impacting forests, farms, road safety, and public health.
Harding Land Trust is pleased to host Joe Basralian of the New Jersey Conservation Foundation. Joe will discuss Deer New Jersey, a new initiative focused on restoring balance through responsible deer management and community collaboration. We’ll also discuss the Harding-Area Venison Sharing program, a local partnership with Table of Hope New Jersey, that turns conservation into nutritious food for neighbors in need.
