Lakeway CASA Lakeway CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) exists to improve the lives of abused and neglected

In 2021 Lakeway CASA of Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson and Sevier Counties served over 240 children. Our volunteers advocate for one to two family groups at a time to ensure quality advocacy. We are made up of over 40 committed child advocate volunteers, 10 board members, and a staff of one full-time executive director, one full-time Volunteer Services Director and one full-time Volunteer Coordinato

r. Lakeway CASA conducts investigations and interviews that the courts do not have the resources to conduct, serves as a trusted friend to the child, and expedites the child’s placement in a safe and loving home. Without CASA, court proceedings are often postponed needlessly because investigations are not complete and important details that are critical to the child’s healing and well-being can be overlooked.

💙 YOU'VE HEARD US TALK ABOUT CONCERT FOR CASA… BUT WHAT EXACTLY IS CASA?

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. We train community volunteers to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are involved in the juvenile court system.

Our volunteers listen.
They visit.
They gather information.
They speak up.
They show up.

They become someone a child can count on.

And that's why we're bringing our community together for Concert for CASA on September 12.
