Hello Buckannears! I know we haven’t met in a while, but I am super excited to kick off this year with you all! Even though I may be in college, I will continue to host our meetings and try to serve you as best as I can! Our next meeting will be this Friday, 9/18 at 7pm! I understand with it being the first weeks of school for many that some of you may not be unable to attend, and that’s okay! From now on I will record the meetings when applicable and as always send out the powerpoint. We will be discussing elections, plans for this year, and overall what direction we want to go with the club, so your attendance would be highly appreciated!

Thank you so much for your time! I miss you all!

Sincerely,
Heather Doherty

Hi everyone-

Kelly would like us to think about our 4-H year and write about it. She is hoping to get some unique stories from each member. Start to think about what happened this past 4-H year:

-Think about the first half of our Buckannear year before quarantine- (Halloween Party, Christmas Party, other activities at meetings)
-Did you participate in public presentations?
-Did you participate in the 4-H blog contest?
-Did you participate in any of our Zoom/Google Meet meetings during quarantine? (Guest Speaker, scibblio games, quizlet games, and remember Angie's epic story about Stella? if not we will recap it for you at the first meeting)
-Did you participate in the Virtual State 4-H Fair?

We will talk more about this at our first meeting. The stories are expected to be short given the kind of year it was. And they are due 10/1 so you have plenty of time!

Also - hold off on re-registering for the 4-H new year, the link is being updated and we will let you know when it is working again.

Here is our google meet code for this Friday's meeting:

Humans sweat. Pigs wallow in mud. Dogs pant. Rabbits don't do any of these when they get too hot. In the wild, rabbits disappear into brush and burrow into the dirt in order to avoid the sun. Their entire bodies are covered in fur with the...
