This week, we had the opportunity to hear a feature presentation from Laura James with SERVPRO of Hamblen County.

Laura shared how SERVPRO helps homeowners and businesses recover from water damage, fire damage, mold issues, storm damage, and other unexpected disasters. Her presentation highlighted the importance of acting quickly when property damage occurs and the resources available to help get homes and businesses back to normal.

Another solid meeting of networking last week.

We inducted two new members into the chapter:
• Laura James with Servpro
• Jennifer Burcham with Greater Impact Realty

We also recognized members for their performance from the past week and had Christian Henry give a great presentation.

Always good getting together with local business owners and continuing to grow the chapter.

We had a solid 1-to-1 between Yuta Suzuki (Suzuki Painting) and Laura James (SERVPRO of Hamblen County).
In BNI, we don’t toss referrals around blindly. We make sure we know who we’re working with, and these 1-to-1s help us actually build that trust. It’s how we keep each other accountable and how we grow as a team.

Another great meeting this week! Our Featured Presenter was Brent Davis with Lead Better, who shared how he helps emerging leaders get unstuck and grow into the next level of leadership through coaching.

He works with people who are ready to move forward but just need some clarity, structure, and accountability to get there.

If you know someone stepping into leadership or feeling stuck in their current role, Brent would be a great connection to make.

Anthony walked us through his preventative maintenance program and even broke down a condenser to show how it’s properly cleaned. It’s something most homeowners never see, but it makes a big difference in the efficiency of your hvac unit.
