What if the hard places in our lives aren’t places we have to escape before we can experience joy?

At Camp Celebrate, we saw it everywhere—families carrying real struggles while laughing, dancing, connecting, and experiencing true belonging.

The circumstances may not have changed, but Jesus was present in the middle of them.

There can be peace in the struggle.
There can be joy in the unknown.
There can be hope in the hallway. ❤️

Meet Adult Adventure — a weekend getaway in the beautiful mountains near Gatlinburg, Tennessee, created specifically for independent adults with disabilities.

It’s a weekend to make friends, experience worship, try new things, have FUN and simply belong.

Life can feel like a hallway filled with doors.

Some open.
Some close.
And some feel completely locked.

For families affected by disability, there can be so many moments that feel like locked doors—answers we can’t find, circumstances we can’t change, and futures we can’t control.

But John 20:19 reminds us of something beautiful.

The disciples were behind a locked door, afraid and uncertain. Jesus didn’t wait for them to figure out how to get out.

He entered the room.

Maybe the promise isn’t that every locked door will suddenly open.

Maybe the promise is that Jesus is already with us behind it.

“Peace be with you.” — John 20:19

Our hearts are full. Thank you for another week of laughter, friendships, worship, encouragement, and a place where all are fully known and fully loved.

There’s something so special about being surrounded by people who don’t just accept differences—they celebrate them.

We’ll carry these memories with us until we meet again next summer.
