The St. Patrick’s Day Parade mourns the loss of Anne Cahill, our friend and trusted volunteer. Anne exemplified Irish pride and servant leadership, dedicating hundreds of hours to ensure the success of each parade. Whether she was selling parade pins, helping organize the Parade Mass, or baking amazing soda bread, Anne dedicated herself whole-heartedly to every project and responsibility. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by everyone in the parade community.

As we look forward to today’s Dangler Day Golf outing at Flanders Valley Golf Club, we look back and appreciate the many years of hard work our organizers have put in to this outing year after year, the many friendships it has forged and strengthened, and the all too important Craic it has produced year after year.

As the outing has gone from The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Annual Golf Outing to the Dangler Day Golf Outing to commemorate and honor one of our beloved founders Jimmy Dangler, we will proudly carry on the tradition of laughter and good times today.

We’re getting excited for our annual FSSP Family Picnic and BBQ this Sunday, June 14th at the Morris Plains Pavilion (next to the pond) on Jim Fear Drive in Morris Plains. This is an opportunity for our members to get together outside of our regular meetings, and bring our families together. We’ll have raffles, games, tons of food, fishing and more! We hope to see you there!!
