This year marked the 25th International Overdose Awareness Day — and we were honored to again be part of Morris County’s a powerful and moving awareness day and ceremony dedicated to honoring lives lost to the opioid crisis and lifting up those who are fighting their way through it.
At HSI, we are proud to play a role in this effort through our Behavioral Health and Recovery Shelter Programs — the latter funded in part through New Jersey's Opioid Recovery Settlement. In this program we’ve been able to serve over 30 individuals this past year as they continue their journey to stability.
Raising awareness, saving lives, and ending the stigma surrounding substance use is work we are committed to every single day, and we couldn’t do it with our amazing supporters.
Thank you to the Morris County Division of Community & Behavioral Health Services for including us in such a meaningful event today. Together, we are making a difference.💜
