Our Philosophy is “A Hand Up, not a Handout.” As a private, nonprofit organization, Homeless Solutions has been helping the homeless and working poor in our community since 1983. Our goal is to give those who we serve the tools and surroundings they need to rebuild their lives and become self-sufficient. What sets our nonprofit apart from others is our Continuum of Housing through our Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing Program (THP), Mt. Kemble Home, and Affordable Housing. Registration is open and you won’t want to miss out – because this year we have an EARLY BIRD opportunity for you! Register by November 2nd and you pay just $40 for your registration fee. Miss the early bird? Registration increases to $45.

Not familiar with ANITC? When you participate you’ll sleep outside on Friday, December 4th, either at Morristown High School or at home as part of our Cold Collective to raise funds and awareness for our neighbors experiencing homelessness and housing instability. Today is — a global reminder that being unhoused is not inevitable, and that every one of us has a role to play in ending it.

Here in Morris County, that work is happening every single day. Since January, we've provided shelter and services to 132 adults and 48 children across our Main Shelter and Transitional Housing Program — and we’ll continue to do this work every day.

HSI was grateful to be a co-sponsor of the 8th Annual Morris County Mental Health & Addiction Coalition Legislative Breakfast this morning.

This impactful morning provided our staff members with an opportunity to engage with state, county and local elected officials about issues affecting individuals and families living with mental illness and substance use disorders – including how public policy can help access to care and community supports. We also heard from important voices like Assemblywoman Aura Dunn, Senator Anthony M. Bucco, Dr. Jeffrey Brenner, M.D. and Michelle Borden LCSW, who continue to champion stronger, healthier communities.

Thank you, Mental Health Association and The Morris County Mental Health & Addiction Coalition for hosting such a meaningful event!🙌🏽
