What a phenomenal end-of-year celebration! 🎉

The Morristown Alumnae Chapter proudly hosted our Delta Academy, Delta GEMS & EMBODI End-of-Year Celebration, and the energy was unmatched! ✨

Over 30 youth participants – from middle and high school – were celebrated for their growth, achievements, and hard work this year.

From 📚 college tours and 💰 financial literacy to building self-esteem, confidence, and cultivating proper presence – these young people showed up and leveled up!

🎓 Special highlights:

· Our 8th-grade young ladies transitioning into Delta GEMS
· Our graduating seniors honored for their next steps toward college

The celebration ended with a warm reception where families and supporters connected, fellowshipped, and rejoiced together. ❤️

So proud of each and every one of you! 💯

What a beautiful day celebrating diversity!

The Morristown Alumnae Chapter was proud to take part in the Morris County annual Diversity Day Celebration this past Sunday, June 7, on the Morristown Green 🌍

Huge thanks to the Diversity Coalition of Morris County for hosting this incredible, free event. We enjoyed:
🎶 Multicultural music
🍛 Delicious ethnic cuisine
😄 And so much fun!

The mission? To bring people together in a safe, welcoming space—celebrating what makes each culture unique while building deeper understanding and appreciation for one another. ❤️

The Morristown Alumnae Chapter celebrated Love My Sister Day with their Membership Service Chapter Retreat. It was a wonderful opportunity for members to bond, deepen their understanding of one another, and reflect on the sorority’s goals. The day began with yoga and meditation led by chapter member Angelica McMillan, followed by a Sister Circle facilitated by licensed therapist Soror Jinn Adams. Afterward, the group enjoyed lunch in the company of State Coordinator Ericka Shoulars. The retreat concluded with games, fun activities, and of course, strolling. All in all, it was a fantastic day dedicated to celebrating sisterhood.

Delta Sigma Theta has always stood for love, inclusion, and respecting the full dignity of every person. While we remain anchored in that legacy, we also acknowledge the need to continue to evolve with intention by championing affirming policies, and forging a culture where every member is seen, valued, and protected.

This Pride Month, we honor and celebrate the beautiful diversity and strength of the LGBTQ+ community and reaffirm our commitment to being allies in the fight for a better future where the freedom to love and exist in one's authentic identity is not contingent on the political climate. Especially when that freedom is being challenged, we choose to show up louder, love harder, and stand firmer in our commitment to justice for all.
