You can donate your time, talents, and support with your resources! Donate household items (gently used or new) such as:
– Children’s clothing
– Baby items
– Kitchen items
– Bed linens and towels
– Essential furniture for small apartments (twin beds, small kitchen table & ch

airs,
upright dressers, loveseats, end tables, lamps)

Donate Your Time & Talents:
– Help at the Christmas Party
– Help at the Literacy Fair
– Help sorting clothes and toys
– Help distributing diapers, cleaning supplies, clothes, etc.
– Spanish speaking translators

Monetary donations are always welcome for purchasing diapers, emergency aid such as paying utility or rent bills, purchasing refrigerators or stoves for needy families. There are many ways to help and all are greatly appreciated!

What a wonderful surprise today for JCFR! A student, Nathan Sell, from Ridge High School completed a community service project for graduation. He decided to have a baby drive at the high school. People donated new and gently used baby items and baby clothing. He and his brother and parents came with 2 cars full! Thank you Nathan and Ridge High School! Thank you also to Lori Zrebiec who told them about the new moms we help at JCFR.

Free Farmers Market in Dover March 4,2026. Sorry I don’t have many good photos this time. After we set up, we were busy talking about diaper drives and before we knew it, the crowds came in! This time we had 19 laundry baskets filled to the rims of clothing, bins of toys and books!! Thanks again to our 6 volunteers!

2026 and we are back at the Free Farmers Market in Dover organized by”Connecting Dover”. We brought lots of warm clothes, shoes, winter hats, and some toys. Also, the girls from “Villa Serves” collected and donated lots of warm and cuddly pajamas for us to bring as well!

Thursday evening John Corr Family Resources went to St Gerard’s in Paterson for their Christmas program and tree lighting ceremony. After the program, we gave out children’s winter jackets and other religious items. Along with Sr Catherine, we had 9 volunteers to help hand out about 125 warm winter jackets to the children. It was a lovely program with lots of singing, hot chocolate, snacks, and fun!

How did summer go by so quickly? If it’s September, that means school backpack give aways at the Dover Free Farmers Market. Besides many bins of clothes, shoes, and toys, this year we had 45 filled backpacks to hand out to the moms and their children. Thank you to our volunteers who came to help, Carmen and Steve, Kelly (along with her 2 children who helped as well), and of course, Sr Catherine! Thank you also for those that donated school supplies… Paula Cecere and Carmen & Steve Clark! We couldn’t do it without your support!

Today was JCFR’s second time participating in the community Baby Shower in Dover. It was sponsored by the Partnership for Maternal & Child Health of Northern NJ. This year there were more than 100 families with new moms expecting babies. There were over 30 human resource groups with tables set up giving out useful information to help the families. We were there to give out gently used baby clothes, baby blankets, infant toys, bibs, and accesories. They also had tons of raffle prizes for the moms to win including cases of diapers, strollers, and over 100 baby baskets. The families were so appreciative and happy!

Today was our annual JCFR baseball game with BBQ buffet at the Somerset Patriots, the Double-A Affiliate of the NY Yankees. We had our largest turnout ever (105!!) with a group of families from St Gerard-Majella School in Paterson. We did an afternoon game where the kids could run the bases after the game. It may have been very hot in the sun but everyone had a fun day! And today’s game was their alternate identity, “Los Zorros de Somerset” with a Hispanic theme! There was even a MLB announcer speaking in Spanish!

Today JCFR had a successful day giving out clothing and toys at the Dover Free Farmers Market. There weren’t as many clients today, possibly due to the heavy rain. But we put smiles on many faces!

Last Friday evening, John Corr Family Resources went to St Gerard’s in Paterson to distribute children’s winter coats and other religious items at their Christmas program and tree lighting ceremony. We had 9 volunteers along with Sr Catherine to hand out about 130 warm winter jackets to the children. A fun time was had by all!
