Wednesdays during the month of June will include heritage lessons. Yesterday, we learned about Vietnam. We learned about traditional clothing worn, practiced pronouncing some Vietnamese words, taste tested a traditional fruit salad, and made paper lanterns. It was such a fun experience learning about the heritage of some of our members. We can’t wait to learn about a different one next week!

Our summer programs have started off well! Science fun on Tuesdays this month…families had the opportunities to learn about microscopes, making butter, baking muffins, and so much more. We love providing hands on learning opportunities for the whole the family. Looking forward to all of the fun happening today!

In honor of our Mystery of History class learning about the Middle Ages and of the Scottish Highlands Games, we invited Jason Richards the Masters World Champion and 5x World Record Holder Highland Games Athlete, to speak with our families about his experiences and teach them the different elements of the games.
