Danny Hoggard Ice Fishing Tournament Welcome to the Danny Hoggard Ice Fishing Annual Tournament Home Page. This is a fund raising event to help fight back against cancer.

What is the Danny Hoggard Ice Fishing Tournament?? The Danny Hoggard Ice Fishing Tournament is a registered 501(c)3 organization where all proceeds benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The organization was formed in 2014 after one of our friends(Danny) lost his battle with cancer, at the young age of 34. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and basically just an all around talented outdoors

man. Sadly, he left behind his wife- Kelli, and 2 young boys- Beau and Aidan. We wondered how we can honor such a great friend, and continue to fight this frustrating and devastating disease... and we simply decided on fishing. Thus, the Danny Hoggard Ice Fishing Tournament was formed. Since the development of the tournament we continue to grow and take the event very seriously. We have been lucky to receive generous donations ranging from a weekend resort trip to the Northwoods of Wisconsin, to varieties of fishing gear from such vendors as HT Enterprises, Clam Outdoors, and Lakewoods Resort. It's with great sadness that this years tourny will not happen. We have decided to take this year off due to the crazy circumstances we all are dealing with. Stay tuned for possible giveaways thru out this winter and we hope to be back next year bigger and better than ever.

Just a few reminders about registration tomorrow morning.

Did you forget to preregister? No worries! You DO NOT have to be preregistered to fish.

Registration begins at 7:00!

The waiver can be printed and filled out at home to save time, but it’s not necessary. We will have waivers at the tournament.

All participants must fill out a waiver.

Any participant under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver. No exceptions.

Every participant, preregistered or not, will fill out the simple registration form before checking in at the registration table. We use this for weigh-in.

Fill out your paperwork at the table before heading to the registration trailer.

No worries! It’s a simple process; we have a great DHIFT crew that will help you out if needed!
