🐾 Meet the Cast of Madagascar: A Musical Adventure KIDS! 🦁🦓🦒🦛

Get ready to “Move It, Move It!” because our talented young performers are bringing the wild adventure of Madagascar to life on stage! 🌴✨

From the fearless Alex the Lion to the adventurous Marty the Zebra, the lovable Melman, the confident Gloria, and the hilarious penguins, this cast has been working hard to create a show full of laughter, music, and fun.

The musical follows Alex, Marty, Melman, Gloria, and their penguin friends as they escape the zoo and embark on an unforgettable adventure where they meet new friends in the WILD!

Found Space Theatre’s Shining Stars Summer Series is a FREE adaptive theatre program designed to be sensory-friendly, creative, inclusive, and supportive for students of all abilities.

Through games, movement, storytelling, music, and dramatic play, students will build confidence, creativity, communication skills, and friendships in a welcoming environment where every participant is encouraged to shine.

We are offering age-based groups for children, teens, AND adults:
⭐ Sprouts (Ages 4–8)
⭐ Explorers (Ages 9–12)
⭐ Trailblazers (Ages 13–17)
⭐ Encore Company (Ages 18+)

✨Meet Our Director: Kat Vann! ✨

Found Space Theatre exists because of a dream Kat has carried in her heart for a very long time... creating a place where every person feels seen, valued, included, and like they truly belong.

Kat has spent years working in youth theatre, directing productions, teaching drama classes, and helping students grow both onstage and off.
She is passionate about creating theatre experiences that build confidence, creativity, friendships, and community for students of all abilities.

One of Kat's favorite moments during a show is standing backstage watching students realize,
"Hey... we really did this." There is nothing better than seeing kids light up with pride and excitement after realizing what they're capable of.
Kat especially loves helping kids discover confidence in themselves, watching friendships form through theatre, and creating opportunities for students who may not always feel like they fit in elsewhere.

She is a graduate of the The University of Alabama and is currently pursuing her MFA in Theatre Education at Mississippi University for Women.

Found Space Theatre is truly Kat's heart, and she feels incredibly thankful for every student, family, volunteer, and supporter who has helped bring this dream to life. 💙✨

✨Meet Our Teen Volunteers! ✨

One of the most special parts of Found Space Theatre is watching students grow into leaders, helpers, and role models for younger performers. Our teen volunteers are an incredibly important part of making Madagascar:
A Musical Adventure (Kids) possible this summer!

From helping backstage and assisting campers to encouraging students and jumping in wherever needed, these teens work hard behind the scenes to help our productions run smoothly.

Their kindness, creativity, leadership, and willingness to serve make such a huge impact on our theatre family.

We are so proud of this amazing group and thankful they've chosen to spend part of their summer investing in our students and mission.
