Sochi Dogs: Extraordinary Strays Sochi Dogs is a unique rescue organization saving stray and abandoned dogs around the world. We adopt dogs in the US, Canada, the UK and throughout Europe.

We just did something BIG! 🎉🎉🎉
Now we need some help :/

Recently the opportunity came up to send 11 dogs away from the drones and explosions in Ukraine to find their forever homes once again. There are a lot of moving pieces with a transport like this, we weren’t sure if it would work out so we kept quiet. 🤫
Now we are thrilled to announce that we did it!

11 dogs are safe and on their way to their forever home in Western Europe.
That’s the good news.
The less good news is we have a LARGE transportation bill to pay. 💸

It covers things like gas, document fees, and the rental a special air conditioned animal transport van.

On May 3rd, we found these three cuties abandoned all alone on a rural road.
We took them in and been caring for them—making sure they have food, shelter, and everything they need each day. Now, we need your help!

Next week, they’re going for their spay/neuter surgeries, but they still need names! We’ve been calling them the “Chocolate Trio” but that won’t do when they get their passports.

When we combine the hard work of our rescue team in Georgia, with the generosity of our donors, and the kindness of volunteers and fosters this happens:
We found Molly was on the side of the road… fast forward through 5 months of care, vet visits, documents, flights, and coordination… and now Molly isn’t starving waiting for someone to throw food at her on the side of the road; instead she is waiting for brunch reservation in Philadelphia!

Sorry... we wanted to post an update about our rescue work in Georgia, but Frodo interrupted and wanted to say hello!
He is an easy, very well trained guy who just wants a human to call his own. He'll go on walks, wait for you while you are at work, and keep you company where ever you want to go.
