The final pottery class of the year was last Sunday ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined me around the clay table. I’ve loved seeing your creativity, getting to know you, and watching your pieces come to life!

I’m taking a little break from teaching for the rest of the year, but classes will resume in the new year. I’m looking forward to more clay, creativity, and time with y’all in 2027! Stay tuned for what’s coming. 🥰

Both are project choices for Wendy Erhart's upcoming Kinusaiga: Japanese Fabric Art class!

You'll use colorful fabrics to create a textured, quilt-like piece — but here's the fun part: there's no sewing involved. Wendy will guide you through the entire process, and beginners are absolutely welcome.

It’s National Arts & Humanities Month! The Alabama Arts Alliance is joining in the campaign.

This October, we’re celebrating the ways the arts and humanities connect us, bring us together, and strengthen our communities. Did you know? Nearly 1 in 3 attendees at nonprofit arts and culture events travel from outside the
county. And among those visitors, 77% say the arts event brought them to the community. The arts give us a reason to explore new places, experience something together, and support local communities along the way.

This year, we’re inviting everyone to :
Tell Congress why federal arts funding matters.
