What a beautiful day🌞 for our Earth Day 🌎Community Cleanup. 45 students and community members joined us and many more volunteered with the Butternut Valley Alliance. We collected over 25 bags of trash along the roadsides of Morris. Thank you to everyone who participated today! Great work! 👏

This open meeting is a great opportunity to learn more about what we do in the community, meet current members, and explore ways to get involved—whether by joining the club or participating in service projects.

Join Morris Rotary, Butternut Valley Alliance, Morris Central School, and the Upper Susquehanna Coalition for an Earth Day Community Cleanup on Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to noon. & MCS Bottle Drive to help support MCS student groups.

Volunteers welcome—just show up! Bring a refillable water bottle and gloves, and wear appropriate work clothes and footwear.

Volunteers will meet at the Morris Central School parking lot, then break into groups to work on projects, including:

• Plantings along Calhoun and Butternut creeks
• Roadside trash pick up around the Village and Town of Morris
• Recycling collection

Items accepted for recycling:
Paper Shredding | Textiles | Styrofoam | Cork | Coffee Pods | VHS, CD's, Cassette Tapes | Christmas lights | Ink and Toner Cartridges | Oral Care-oral care waste: toothbrushes, floss containers & toothpaste tubes

If you have a Christmas tree that you would like to donate to the Morris Rotary Club for placement outside Morris Central School as part of the Community Tree, please notify us. A Rotarian will arrange to cut and collect it.
