Join the Young Leaders at CornFest on Friday, September 25th for our final Pedal Pull of the year. Find us in the Old National Bank parking lot for some friendly competition and a fun way to kick off the weekend!

Illinois Farm Bureau is seeking outstanding student leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to showcase their work. Whether you're a student who has launched a business, conducted agricultural research, led a community initiative, or developed an innovative project, we want to hear about it!

Selected participants will showcase their businesses or projects at the 2026 Illinois Farm Bureau Annual Meeting in Chicago and have their hotel and registration covered.

This past Friday, we hosted our annual golf outing “FORE The Future of Agriculture”. We had a fantastic day, and wonderful weather for the occasion. ⛳️

A huge thank you goes out to our sponsors, golfers, and everyone who joined us for dinner, and those who generously donated baskets. All of the support allows Young Leaders to continue to give back to the next generation of agriculture!

It was a successful evening for the KGFB Young Leaders at last night’s District 5 Discussion Meet!

Chris Smith was named one of the District 5 winner’s and will represent our district at the IAA Annual Meeting in Chicago this December. Ben Biros was also recognized for his strong performance, and finished as the District 5 alternate.

For both competitors, this was their first time participating in the Discussion Meet, making the evening an outstanding accomplishment for each of them!
