***OCTOBER 15TH - EARLY VOTING BEGINS TODAY IN NORTH CAROLINA- CHECK OUT GUILFORD COUNTY EARLY VOTING SITES AND INFO ON THE AMENDMENTS***

Here is a list of early voting sites for Guilford County. Also, do not forget about the Constitutional Amendments on your ballot. These amendments are harmful to our communities. Please read the graphic from our friends at Carolina Federation to get the breakdown on just how harmful these amendments will be. PLUS, they will be very, very hard to change once enshrined in our state Constitution. Vote *AGAINST* all three amendments!

We were fortunate in Greensboro to have Katie Trout speak last night about her experiences, with Superior Court Judge Carrie Vickery (Forsyth County) as the moderator. The Justice Project has sponsored this conversation in several NC cities, since Katie's experience includes interactions with Sarah Stevens, candidate for NC State Supreme Court. Sarah Stevens has long supported various legislation that hurts victims of abuse as they try to get justice. We MUST vote to re-elect Justice Anita Earls, who is a champion for human rights.

Beginning at 15, Katie Trout suffered abuse at the hands of a church official in Charlotte. In the years since, she has advocated for legislation to protect victims and hold abusers and institutions accountable. She is also speaking out against the Republican nominee for the NC Supreme Court.
