We had several requests for the link to our brick fundraiser we kicked off yesterday.

The beloved tradition of the House Walk takes place today! Purchase a $20 ticket at any destination on the walk and enjoy the Christmas decor in the style of its owner. With your ticket, you can enjoy refreshments at the complimentary tea at Morris Country Club, which is decorated to the nines for the holidays.

After the walk, enjoy shopping at Downtown boutiques and stores- a retail experience like no other! Return your ticket to any participating business for a chance to win a $1,000 Downtown Morris shopping spree, compliments of the Morris Retail Association, City of Morris, IL - Government, and Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Proceeds from the walk benefit two scholarships for Morris High School students and provide a generous donation to the Grundy County Lending Closet and Grief Counseling Center (formerly Grundy Hospice). Kick off the holidays with this special Morris tradition!

We hope you'll join us for the17th Annual Lighted Holiday Parade on Friday, November 25th at 5:30PM in Downtown Visit Morris, IL. Parade entry forms are available through 11/18 at https://morrisil.org/home-for-the-holidays/.

Have you ever wondered who is behind this magical tradition? Local volunteers and City of Morris, IL Public Works make it happen! A small group met today to finalize the plans- and humored us for a photo. 😁

While you are out enjoying the Home for the Holidays Morris, IL window walk in downtown Morris or spying your favorite Christmas Tree at the Grundy County Historical Society make sure to stop by and see us at Gebhard Brewery for Our Grinchmas Open House being held Saturday November 26th, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
This event is free to the public. Snack on a treat or two inside the brewery while enjoying some hot cocoa or hot cider.
Walk around portions of the lower floor of the Marchinery Building and Stockhouse and take in the Grinchmas decor.
