On the plus side
The "plus" in PolioPlus refers to the many other pressing community needs that Rotary's polio eradication strategy is designed to address. In Pakistan, one of only two countries where polio is still endemic, these include basic healthcare, clean water, and other routine immunizations. Learn how Rotary and its partners are delivering much more than vaccines.

We heard about the Interfaith Food Pantry from Carolyn Lake, its Executive Director. In Morris County, over 43 thousands residents are food insecure. Besides providing healthy food at the two pantry locations their mobile network comprises 36 locations across the county — community-based food pantries, senior housing sites, emergency food access points, colleges and schools. In addition to food and nutrition education, there is an in-house resource navigator to connect people with agencies that assist with healthcare, housing, benefits navigation, legal aid, childcare, and education and training opportunities.

Photo shows Carolyn with a donation from the club presented by President Mike.

Thank you Carolyn for visiting and bringing us up to date on the operations of the Interfaith Food Pantry.
