The Ozark District O’rama is in the books and we are so proud of all the Conway County 4-H members! Members were recognized for their District winning Record Books and their competition placings. Members also took part in the District Community Service Project. Let’s congratulate 1st place winners, Micah - Instrumental, Payton - Entomology Collection, & Hayes - Bicycle. 2nd place winners Brooke - Entomology Talk, Leah - Vocal, & Shay - Fashion R***e. 3rd place winners Alaina - Horse Talk & Leighton - Crop & W**d ID. Participation recipients Tucker - Baitcasting, Lydia - Wildlife, Susanna - BB Gun Safety & Kynzleigh - Dance. Our 4-H members did a fantastic job and we can’t wait to see them continue to grow in their projects and competitions! 🍀🏆💚

The 4-H Textiles Day Camp was filled with creativity, learning & excitement! 4-H members made personalized fabric banners, hats, bags, & buttons. They also learned how to make towel animals. 🍀🧢💚

Let’s congratulate Rose for being named a 2026 Arkansas 4-H Teen Star!

The Arkansas 4-H Teen Star is a recognition program for outstanding achievement in the areas of 4-H projects, activities, community service, and leadership. Rose & Alaina attended the Teen Leader Conference as representatives from Conway County 4-H where Rose received a Teen Star award during the banquet ceremony.

We are so proud of our Conway County 4-H club members for their continued dedication.🍀🎉

The Entomology Roadshow was a success!!

4-H members from across Conway County joined us for some engaging activities related a variety of bugs and arthropods that can be found right here in Arkansas. From catching some of our own crawling critters to learning about their purpose, we have all been reminded how impactful insects are in our day to day lives.

We want to say a special thank you to Dr. Austin Jones from the University of Arkansas for making today possible. 🍀🪳

We are excited to welcome Haden Richardson to the Conway County Extension Office as our summer intern! Haden attends the University of Arkansas and will be working alongside the Conway County Agents and learning about all the programs offered by Extension. Help us welcome Haden! 🍀🌾🌽🌱

We had a wonderful time at MIS sharing our Pollinator Education Program! Did you know that while honeybees are fantastic pollinators, they aren't the primary or most effective pollinators of our flowers, trees, and crops? We have our MANY species of native bees, wasps, and butterflies to thank for that!

Emergency vehicles and aircraft are anticipated to be in the area for the simulated event.

Do not be alarmed! This simulated event is for training purposes!

Outdoor O’rama is today from 3:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m.
Bring a bike & helmet if you plan to compete in the bicycle contest. All other contests materials will be provided.
We are keeping an eye on the weather and have a safe place to shelter if anything pops up. See you at the Extension Office!
