On Thursday, October 1st Monmouth Council gathered at the historic Sigmund Eisner Factory Building, the birthplace of the first Scouting uniforms for an unforgettable Heritage Society event. šŸŽƒ Cubtoberfest 202 is fall fun for the whole family! More than 500 Cub Scouts and their loved ones spent the day at Quail Hill enjoying the Climbing Wall, Wagon Rides, BB & Archery, pumpkin painting, fishing, games of skill, and a festive costume parade. As evening settled in, families cozied up together for an Outdoor Movie Night under the stars ā€” a perfect way to end a day of adventure and autumn magic. šŸ‚https://www.monmouthcouncilscouting.org/activities/cubtoberfest/

The 31st Annual Six Flags Camporee is almost here! Join us October 16ā€“18, 2026 for a oneā€‘ofā€‘aā€‘kind Scouting experience at Six Flags Great Adventure. This event brings together thousands of Scouts for a weekend of leadership, outdoor skills, and unforgettable experiences including merit badge opportunities, a youthā€‘led patch design contest, and camping inside the Safari. With multiple registration packages available, units can tailor their experience to include park admission, Fright Fest, and meal options. On Thursday, our Scouting family came together at the historic Sigmund Eisner Factory Building the original home of the first Scouting uniforms for a truly memorable Heritage Society celebration. The buildingā€™s legacy set the perfect backdrop as we reflected on more than a century of service and looked ahead to the bright future of Scouting America in Monmouth Council. We were honored to welcome Ricky Mason, Chair of the National Executive Board, whose uplifting message reminded us how tradition and vision continue to shape young leaders. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating our heritage and supporting the Scouts who will carry it forward.
