โ˜€๏ธ Summer EBT is back for 2026! โ˜€๏ธ

Families across West Virginia may qualify to receive a one-time $120 Summer EBT benefit for each eligible school-aged child to help with groceries during the summer months. ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅช

Here are a few important things to know:
โ€ข Most eligible children are between ages 6โ€“17, though some children ages 4โ€“21 may also qualify.
โ€ข Many families will automatically receive benefits if they already participate in programs like SNAP, WV WORKS/TANF, certain Medicaid categories, or free/reduced meals through the National School Lunch Program.
โ€ข Families whose children attend Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) schools may still need to apply if they are not automatically enrolled.
โ€ข Applications are accepted through August 20, 2026.
โ€ข Benefits are expected to begin issuing starting May 24, 2026.

Please note: online applications are not available at this time. Applications can be picked up at your local DoHS office, or requested by calling 1-877-716-1212.
