Our FRN, Victoria, had a great time at WVU Medicine's Trunk or Treat on Friday!

We had so much fun sharing the joy of books with local families and helping little readers discover the magic of reading with our Dolly Parton's Imagination Library-themed trunk.

Do you know a child ages birth to five who lives in Monongalia County? The Imagination Library provides free books delivered right to their mailbox every month!

🎙️ Cans for the Community – Live with WVAQ , WAJR-AM & WKKW! 🎙️

🕕 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

We’re going LIVE all day with your favorite local radio stations — WVAQ, WAJR and WKKW — to give back to our community! ❤️

People are encouraged to donate shelf-stable, unopened, non-expired food items. All food items will go toward the Helpful Harvest Food Program which serves over 50 food pantries and feeding programs in Monongalia and Preston counties. We will also be doing live radio interviews throughout the day.

We asked Mon County to share how they can be like Dolly and spread a little more kindness in our community, and look how much our garden has grown!

Each flower represents one small way someone can help, encourage a neighbor, brighten someone’s day, or make a difference in their community. One small act of kindness can grow into something much bigger, and we love seeing all of the ideas our community has shared!

Stop by, take a picture with our kindness garden, and read through the flowers. Then let us know which one is your favorite!

🧷 Community Diaper Giveaway! 🧷

The Monongalia County Family Resource Network and Helpful Harvest Food Program are excited to host another Community Diaper Giveaway for local families and agencies!

During our last giveaway, we were able to distribute more than 30,000 diapers to families and agencies across the state. We’re excited to continue connecting our community with this important resource and helping make sure little ones have what they need to stay happy, healthy and dry. 💙

Owl-O-Ween is only a few weeks away! Bring a bag for treats, because Cheat Lake Animal Hospital will be hosting a trunk or treat at the same location. Everything is free and family friendly!

Join us for a wicked good time this Thursday at our 25th mutual aid fair! 🎃 Our most pressing need is volunteers to help serve the meal 🍽️

We can always use help and there’s lots of opportunities…

🥙Before the event
- Assisting morgantownfnb (FNB) with cooking (afternoon)
- Setting up (5-6p)

💵 At the event (6-8p)
- Check in table, assisting vendors & guests
- Assisting FNB with serving food & cleaning dishes

🧹 After the event (starting at 8p)
- Cleaning up & storing supplies
- Assisting FNB with clean up & transporting supplies
