The West Virginia Innocence Project aims to serve and to free people who are in prison for crimes they did not commit. We work to fix the problems that lead to wrongful convictions in our justice system, and focus on those issues important to the people of West Virginia. Only by looking at the causes of wrongful imprisonment can we help our clients, and help end the cycle.

We have two challenges to unlock $15,000 for WVIP but we need 150 gifts of any amount over $5.00. Additionally, if you specifically give at 10:00 pm on Wednesday you could help us win additional funding. You can give by clicking the link in our bio.

Pro tip: break up your total gift in increments of $5.00. For example, if you give two gifts of $5.00 then that counts as two gifts.
