Motown Santa Speedo Run The Motown Santa Speedo Run is a 1 mile fun run / stroll through Morgantown. Our mission is to spread holiday cheer as well as help out local charities.

EVENT DETAILS
WHEN
Saturday, December 10, 2016. Doors open at 11:00 am. Run starts at 12:10 pm.

11:00 am - 12:00 pm Check-in, libations, & Door Prizes – Live Music performed by (TBA)

12:00 am - 12:10 pm Preparation for run & gathering at start line

12:10 pm - 12:30 pm Run

12:30 pm – 3:00 pm Post-run party – Door Prizes – Live Music with the Bastard Bearded Irishmen

The Motown Santa

Speedo Run registration is open to anyone at least 18 years of age. The run is limited, however, to the first 500 registrants. WHERE

The run will start and end at Mainstage Morgantown at 444 Chestnut St in Morgantown WV. The course is an approximate 1 mile jog that departs from Mountainstage on Chestnut, up to the Mountainlair, comes back down High Street, turns right on Walnut, then right on Chestnut heading back to Mainstage Morgantown, ending back where we began! WHY

To participate in a fun and unique charity event to raise money for Operation Welcome Home, and to collect toys to support Flood Victims in Southern WV through The Hoss Foundation, Rotary District 7530 and Rotary District 7550

ATTIRE

Here's what you'll need the day of the run:
• Obviously, a Speedo-like bathing suit is required. Holiday colors are preferred. Please, no thongs! We know you have the body to pull it off, so why prove what's obvious?
• Sneakers
• Santa hat, beard, and other holiday flair at your discretion
• A bag to put your clothes in while running
• Copy of your registration email
• If you registered to bring a toy, please bring unopened and unwrapped toy

Wear your Speedo under your street clothes so that you can just strip down to the Speedo at run time. Or, just wear it the entire time!
