As Pride Month ends, we pause to reflect on the courageous LGBTQ+ individuals stood together during the Stonewall uprising and changed history more than 50 years ago. They fought for the simple yet powerful right to live openly and exist without fear. Because of their bravery, generations have continued the fight for equality, visibility, and acceptance.

However, we are reminded that the fight for equality is far from over. Today's U.S. Supreme Court decision allowing states to enforce bans on transgender girls participating in girls' school sports is a painful reminder that many members of our community continue to face legal and social challenges. For many, this decision is deeply personal, and we want you to know You are seen, You are heard, and You are loved!

Pride has never been just a celebration, but a movement rooted in resilience, and the unwavering belief that every person deserves to live authentically. In moments like these, we lean on one another and refuse to let setbacks define our future.

The work does not end because the parades are over, or the rainbow flags come down. We will always continue to advocate for equality, educate our communities, and create spaces where every LGBTQ+ person is seen and respected. We will continue to raise our voices, because progress has always been driven by people willing to stand together, speak out, and refuse to give up. The fight for equality is not confined to a single month but a commitment we carry with us every day.
