WVU Student Association of Nutrition and Dietetics is a non-profit organization that provides community involvement through nutrition education off- and on-campus in the Morgantown, WV area. The West Virginia University Student Association of Nutrition and Dietetics is an campus organization designed to bring students in the field of dietetics together for a common purpose. As a group, we strive t

o reach out to the surrounding community in the Morgantown, WV area to promote health awareness through nutrition and dietetics. Faculty Advisor: Megan Govindan

Goals of SAND:
- Acquaint students on campus and within the Human Nutrition and Foods major and all aspects of nutrition and dietetics.
- Provide sound nutritional information to the community.
- Provide an opportunity for members to become familiar with community events as well as the AND.
- Stimulate sound nutritional practices among peers.
- Serve as a resource to those with an interest in the fields of dietetics, nutrition, health, foodservice, and food science.
