🎯Designated Funds allow donors to support one or more specific nonprofit organization(s) in perpetuity. YCF ensures the designated recipient(s) receive the annual distributions, or income, from the endowment as long as the organization remains in existence and continues to fulfill the intended charitable purpose. YCF handles the administrative and investment management.

2025–2026 YCF Community Grant Recipient: Community Kitchen, Inc. 💙

Community Kitchen, Inc. helps nourish our neighbors by providing healthy, nutritious food through its weekend meal bag program. Each bag contains shelf-stable foods to provide one breakfast and one lunch, giving patrons nutritious meals to take home for the weekend.

Community Kitchen fills an important need in our community by providing weekend meal bags for adults and, when needed, other members of their households. The program also helps reach individuals who may face barriers to accessing other weekend meal programs.

From January through July, Community Kitchen provided 13,731 meals to 169 individuals through its weekend meal bag program.

While a weekend meal bag may seem like a simple gesture, it can make a meaningful difference for someone facing food insecurity. Through this program, Community Kitchen helps ensure that our neighbors have nutritious food to count on throughout the weekend. 🥣🍎

We’re proud to support Community Kitchen through the YCF Community Grant Program and the important work they do to strengthen our community, one meal at a time.
