For the first time this semester, the came in to make their meal for our guests. We had fajitas🌯, tacos🌮, and taco bowls with shredded chicken🐤 and black beans, rice🍚, pico, veggies, corn🌽 salsa, sour cream, cheese🧀, and more. Thank you for volunteering your time on an already crazy and hectic medical⚕ school schedule to come in every month and serve our guests. It truly makes a world of difference in making the Family House a "home away from home."🏠

The DeFelice Family were back at it again Tuesday night with yet another culinary delight. They whipped up cabbage rolls, kielbasa and noodles for our guests. Like always, it was a big hit. Thank you for another wonderful experience.

Sadly, summer☀ is basically over; Mon County and WVU students👩‍🎓 are now back in school🏫, and traffic🚦is rough again, and we must dodge students wherever we drive. Please help us fill our meal🗓 calendar. Right now, nothing 🚫 is guaranteed. We have NO MEALS PLANNED this coming weekend and beyond.

Our guests always love to see when future generations come out and volunteer their time and give back. That is exactly what happened earlier this month, when students from St. Francis Central Catholic School, mainly from grades 6-8, came in with all the ingredients for a full taco bar.

Sadly, summer☀ is basically over; Mon County and WVU students👩‍🎓 are now back in school🏫, and traffic🚦is rough again, and we must dodge students wherever we drive. Please help us fill our meal🗓 calendar. Right now, nothing 🚫 is guaranteed. We have NO MEALS PLANNED this coming weekend and beyond.

Thank you to our own 6 East - Neurosciences Stepdown Epilepsy Monitoring Unit for providing a delicious pulled pork dinner to our guests last week. Not only did they make that, but they also brought along mac & cheese and salad to complete the meal.

Our friends from all over Morgantown got together and came up with a great idea: "Let's all bring some of our favorite pizzas to the for dinner!" That is exactly what this group did. A BIG thank you to Residence Inn by Marriott Morgantown Medical Center Area, Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place Hotel, La Quinta Inn & Suites Morgantown, Hampton by Hilton Morgantown/University Town Centre, Hotel Morgan, Holiday Inn Morgantown - University Area, and Visit Mountaineer Country for making all of this happen!

staples Sharon and Pat were here again for dinner. They cooked up something different and unique, too. Lots of smells happening in the kitchen: soup, beans, bratwurst, oven-roasted potatoes, cornbread, cake, and brownies (they were delicious). Thank you for your YEARS of supporting our guests and the Family House.

A women's group from StoneBridge Baptist Church idge Baptist Church dropped in to make dinner for our guests. They cooked up some enchiladas, Mexican dip, Spanish rice, tacos, and even brought along cake, cupcakes, and DELICIOUS cookies (that I may or may not have taste-tested 3-5 of 🤫. Ladies, thank you so much for your time spent serving.
