Rosenbaum Family House Rosenbaum Family House is a home away from home for adult patients and families of patients receiving treatment at a WVU Medicine facility.

When a serious illness or injury strikes, staying close to family is important. Family House is a home away from home for families of our adult patients and sometimes for patients themselves. To stay at the Rosenbaum Family House, patients at WVU Medicine must be 18 years or older and live at least 50 miles away from Morgantown. Once given a room, guests may stay as long as the patient remains in

the hospital or is being treated on a regular outpatient basis by a WVU Medicine physician. Every room in Rosenbaum Family House is full every night. On any given day, some 30 families are waiting for a room, and they may have to wait up to 3 days before one becomes available. This adds stress to families who are already coping with sometimes life-threatening challenges.

The Salvation Army- Morgantown came in clutch for our guests last week. They not only cooked 1️⃣ dinner but 3️⃣!!! They have been such an amazing partner over the past year. ❤️
