Books build healthy minds and a love of reading can start right in the doctor’s office.

At each well-child visit, Reach Out & Read helps physicians promote the importance of reading aloud by putting a new book directly into a child’s hands. These books give families an opportunity to read, learn and grow together while helping children build skills that support healthy development.
