Scouting America provides so many great opportunities for our youth both boys and girls! Troop 152 started working on a test merit badge - sewing. They are enjoying learning so may different things from welding to pioneering to sewing.

Today the troop competed in the Klondike Derby. They took 1st Place and got the Outstanding Scout Spirit Award 🥇

Troop 152 enjoyed attending the UMC Circuit Rider at Jackson Mills. This year the troop took 1st place in the frozen tshirt contest with a record breaking 3:07 minute time!! Tradition of having dinner at Lightburns Family restaurant continues.

A Scout is reverent. Scout Sunday was observed at Avery United Methhodist Church with scouts from Troop 152 and Troop 52.

5 years ago today Troop 152 had their first troop meeting. Today we held a Troop Court of Honor and celebrated that we have two Eagle Scouts with more working toward that rank.

Troop 152 had an amazing time this past weekend at the Klondike Derby in Doddridge State Park taking away the Most Spirited Award!!! They can’t wait to go back next year!
