The Butler County Cooperative Extension Office is organizing a holiday backpack drive to support those impacted from the tornados in our area. We are asking if anyone in our community would like to contribute to our efforts. Items can be dropped off at the Butler County Extension Office today until 6pm and tomorrow until 10 am. 2020 Kentucky 4-H Project Showcase

COVID -19 has affected much 4-H programming this year for not only us, but for our 4-H families and their 4-H projects!

Without the traditional 4-H Cloverville Exhibit during the Kentucky State Fair, many 4-H members and the community would not be able to see the hard work that goes into projects.

Therefore, we would like to announce the 2020 Kentucky 4-H Project Showcase. This will be a virtual based showcase highlighting Kentucky 4-H project work from across the commonwealth. Please note this is only a showcase and no awards will be given. The showcase will be a video-based showcase posted on Kentucky 4-H during the Kentucky State Fair.

Any 4-H youth, ages 9-19, are encouraged to participate!
We may have missed out on our usual 4-H Project Camp Days, but you can still show off your work!

Interested? Here's what we'll need: 4-H member name, PIE form (Participant Information Enrollment form) with an approved media release, category and a photo of your completed project - see below!

Please note 4-H divisions have been merged into overall general categories; (a) family consumer sciences, (b) leadership, (c) agriculture and natural resources, (d) arts, and (e) photography.

Due date is Thursday, August 6th! Call Mr. Saylor at 270-999-1500 to schedule an appointment to bring in your forms and project. He'll take a picture of your project. If you don't have the forms, you can call the Extension Office at 526-3767 to schedule a time to pick up OR a parent can complete your forms when you come in with your project!

Show off those projects today!!!!
