On Tuesday, August 25, four extraordinary women from Morgan Hill’s past will come to life again—and tell stories of the lives they lived, the community they helped shape, and the legacies they left behind.

Meet:
- Catherine Murphy Dunne
- Diana Murphy Hill
- Sada Coe
- Virginia Mae Days

Their stories will be portrayed by AAUW Morgan Hill members Marilyn Pifer, Carol Holzgraf, Margo Hinnenkamp, and Yvonne Martinez Beltran in a very special presentation:

Today, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its decision in West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Little v. Hecox. While the ruling allows states to ban transgender girls and women from participating on girls’ and women’s school sports teams, it does not require those bans. States and schools may continue to adopt and maintain inclusive policies.
AAUW remains steadfast in our commitment to the full inclusion of transgender and nonbinary students and to advancing equity in education for all.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the contributions of S.M. Rodriguez, PhD, J. Waggoner, and Michelle Esther O'Brien, whose scholarship, teaching, and leadership continue to create meaningful change in higher education and beyond.
Through their work, they are expanding knowledge, advancing equity, and helping build more inclusive academic communities for future generations.

We celebrate freedom and reflect on the work that remains to ensure that every person has the opportunity to thrive. We are especially grateful for the leadership, wisdom, creativity, and determination of Black women who have shaped our communities, opened doors for others, and continue to inspire us every day.

At AAUW Morgan Hill, we believe that equity is strengthened when every voice is heard, every story is valued, and every person belongs.
