Service Above Self. That is what Rotary is all about!!

The Rotary Club of Morgan Hill was proud to show up and pitch in for our recent service project at the Morgan Hill Buddhist Community Center. Our club members helped give its outdoor spaces a little extra care and attention.

Our members rolled up their sleeves to clean up the grounds, paint doors, refresh the barbecue area, upgraded the ADA parking area and added new planters filled with plants to brighten the space, along with a few more projects that were a bonus for all!

We're grateful for the opportunity to support the Morgan Hill Buddhist Center and help make our community a little more welcoming, one project at a time!

A special thank you to our team leaders who spent many more hours planning and shopping for supplies: Charles Weston, Judy Henry, Corbin King, John Kelley and our course consultant, Roger Knopf.

From Red Badge to Blue Badge & Learning to Stay Scam-Smart!

It was another great meeting at the Rotary Club of Morgan Hill!

We celebrated the growth and involvement of two of our members, Tom Shaw and Matthew Martinez, as our club president, Ken Meagor, proudly presented their Blue Badges, recognizing their completion of the Red Badge requirements and their continued commitment to Rotary. 👏👏 Congratulations, and welcome to this next step in your Rotary journey Tom and Matthew!

We were also fortunate to welcome the Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen to our club for an important presentation on how to recognize and avoid scams. From recognizing red flags to knowing how to protect ourselves and others, the presentation provided valuable information that we can all put into practice.

At Rotary, we believe in Service Above Self - and that includes building strong members, sharing knowledge, and helping create a safer, stronger community. 💪

Fellowship in Rotary ❤️

One of the best things about Rotary is the opportunity to connect beyond our weekly meetings—and we’ve been having plenty of fun doing just that!

🏡 Front Porch Friday
One of our wonderful members, Dr. Dave, opened his home for our Front Porch Friday, an evening of good food, drinks, laughter, and conversation. Members and their significant others came together to relax, catch up, and simply enjoy one another’s company. It’s these fun gatherings that strengthen the friendships that make our Rotary family so special.

🍷 Fellowship Wednesday
We also enjoy gathering at a local w**e and b**r house, Bubbles and Brew, for an after work evening of fellowship while supporting a local business. Good friends, good conversation, and a great local spot made for another wonderful Rotary evening!

Whether we’re serving our community or simply sharing a meal and a few laughs, fellowship is what brings us together and makes Rotary more than a club—it makes us a community. 💙💛

Rotary in Action! 🌎💙

Service Above Self isn’t just something we say—it’s something we do!

Recently our Rotary members rolled up their sleeves for a community park cleanup, partnering with a local organization, Burners Without Borders, to help keep one of our local parks clean and welcoming. 🧤🌳

We also joined another community partner, Leadership Morgan Hill, to hang banners throughout downtown. These banners feature and celebrate Morgan Hill's 120th anniversary, adding a little community pride and helping make our downtown area shine. 🏙️✨

Two projects, two great partnerships, and one shared goal: making our community a better place, together.

That’s Rotary in action! 💙

🌿✨ A Special Visit to our Rotary Club of Morgan Hill ✨🌿

We were honored to welcome our 2026–27 Rotary District 5170 Governor, Geeta Kadambi, to our Rotary Club on July 29th.

Her visit was an inspiring reminder of what makes Rotary so special—the power of people coming together with a shared commitment to Service Above Self. During her visit, she presented our member, Peter Anderson, with a special recognition award. Congratulations to Peter, well deserved!!

She shared a wonderful thought with us:

“Just as spices come together to make a good, tasty dish, Rotarians always come together to serve humanity and to make the world a better place.”

What a perfect reflection of Rotary! Each of us brings something unique to the table, but when we come together, we can create something truly meaningful for our communities and our world. 💙

Thank you for visiting our club, sharing your vision for the new Rotary year, and inspiring us to continue making a difference together!

Thank you to everyone who joined us! We always enjoy spending time together and look forward to welcoming new friends at our next gathering.

Service. Fellowship. Fun. That’s what Rotary is all about.

This week, our Rotary Club welcomed Larry Stone, Santa Clara County Assessor, Retired, for an engaging presentation titled “Silicon Valley Economy and Local Real Estate Markets.”

Members gained valuable insights into the trends shaping our regional economy and local real estate market, along with the factors influencing growth, housing, and our community’s future. The presentation gave us a deeper understanding of the changing landscape of Silicon Valley.

Thank you to our guest speaker for sharing your knowledge and perspective. Rotary meetings are an opportunity to learn from local experts, connect with fellow community leaders, and stay informed about the issues that matter most.
