Art Therapy Workshop: Meeting Myself Through Art

Thank you to everyone who joined our first art therapy workshop in Taipei! Through colors and textures, we explored ourselves in a supportive, creative space led by art therapist Evelyn Chen.

Last month, we partnered with SALT Collectiv to deliver 150 winter care packages and nutritious meals to the homeless community at Taipei Main Station. In addition to distributing supplies, volunteers took the time to engage in meaningful conversations, offering emotional support and connection.

Each care package contained essential cold-weather items, including an emergency blanket, gloves, socks, hand warmers, and a beanie, along with practical tools like a hand-cranked flashlight and lip balm, as well as snacks. All these essentials were packed in a durable new backpack, providing a reliable way to carry belongings. Many recipients were pleasantly surprised and grateful to receive a backpack filled with useful supplies!

This initiative was made possible thanks to the support of our partner and the dedication of our volunteers. We hold this event once a month at Taipei Main Station. 上個月，我們與 SALT Collectiv 合作，在台北車站為無家者發放了 150 份冬季關懷包 和 營養餐點。除了分發物資外，志工們也花時間與街友交流，提供情感上的支持與關懷。

每份關懷包內含 禦寒必需品，包括 緊急保暖毯、手套、襪子、暖暖包和毛帽，以及 手搖式手電筒、護唇膏 等實用物品，並附上 零食 以補充能量。所有物品都裝在 耐用的新背包 中，讓受贈者能夠安心攜帶這些日常所需。許多受贈者都對這份充滿關懷的背包感到驚喜與感激！

這次我們更邀請到臺灣饒舌傳奇人物【大支】跟我們一同共襄盛舉！開場國歌演奏嘉賓則是來自台灣的烏克麗麗演奏家【馮羿 Feng E】，他在 12 歲時就登上 America's Got Talent節目，技驚四座。更受到知名脫口秀的邀訪。只要來參加我們的活動，就能親自感受到這兩位音樂人的熱情與音樂！

🎥 Free film screening of Taiwanese film "BIG"!

Through shared experiences, the families discover solace and resilience in their collective journey. With its heartfelt depiction, "BIG" delivers a touching narrative of courage, hope, and the unwavering endurance of the human spirit in the face of adversity.

⚾ Taiwan Youth Baseball Training Program​

Tang and Gau Global Foundation, along with T League RGT, will host the training event to provide young baseball players from Taiwan the opportunity to participate in a specialized Training Program.

Sixteen 11-year-old players and two coaches from Taiwan’s Xin Pu Elementary School Team will take part in the program. Joining this baseball training program not only cultivates the country’s future baseball talents, fosters teamwork and character education among students, and develops baseball as a local sport, but also promotes the vigorous growth of the regional baseball industry.

The two-week off-site training program primarily focuses on strengthening students’ basic skills in batting, pitching, fielding, and baserunning. Additionally, national coaches will have the chance to learn new teaching methods from the program, led by the pitching coach of the US World Baseball Committee (WBSC). The program includes specific position-based training, use of local baseball training center equipment, participation in local Little League and Travel ball games and tournaments (minimum six to ten games), as well as an opportunity to attend an MLB game.

「孩子無法講道理、各種情緒崩潰？」- 心理諮商博士凱琳教你穩住孩子情緒

孩子其實是一個與我們全然不同的生物，他們的認知能力、理解力、以及情緒機制，和成人是非常不同的。做為父母，我們需要先去瞭解這種差異，才能用更有效的方法去與他們互動，並且幫助他們在經驗中慢慢地學會認識並處理自己的情緒。
