SO UUHHHH…. ABOUT YESTERDAY..!!!! Special Shots go out to Kymberly Taylor of KYMS Youth Mentoring and Mayor Ulises Cabrera of the City of Moreno Valley… and I have to include my FIATM & NLAA BEARS team for showing up and showing out..!!!! I would be amiss if I didn’t also give a BIG SHOT OUT TO THE MORENO VALLEY MALL MANAGEMENT for thier AWESOME SUPPORT for the 3rd year in a row of all the above mentioned efforts to get student back to school in a positive way.. This event is labeled a Backpack Giveaway.. BUT…. Those that showed up receive SO MUCH MORE.. the resource venders that passed out information and also took time to speak to families.. HOW AWESOME IS THAT.. also for the Community to be able to see and take part in a United Collaboration of adults .. in the midst of an unforgiving society .. HOW SPECIAL IS THAT..!!!!???? In the space that I’m in professionally.. specifically in the Inland Empire … if you receive any kind of Award with the name Woody Rucker-Hughes, Rose Mayes, Dell & Carmen Roberts or Margaret Hill.. Lisa Broomfield, or Judy White, someone is taking notice of the work being done.. I am so GRATEFUL to Dr. Tamara Fraizer and the AAAC (African American Advisory Council) from MVUSD for your support and recognition of myself and FIATM.

ANOTHER AWESOME TIME AND BLESSINGS COUNTED… As this academic year whines down.. FIATM joins in the Celebration of yet ANOTHER STRONG Organization GREATNESS WITHIN as they Celebrated their Young Scholars, in which we (FIATM) share a few of. Alvord Unified is BLESSED with 2 POWERHOUSE PROGRAMS that ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE..!!!!!! (Side Note: Everyone doesn’t learn the same way, some change is immediate and some change happens over time!!! Our program accomplishes Both. We work with some of the hardest cases to breakdown barriers, nothing that we CAN’T save everyone, reserve judgement and watch the progress… we have an impeccable record.).
