Thank you to the volunteer that jump in to help us at the last minute… we can’t pay as we don’t have the funds. But, we were able to bless him with a tool he needed for his job $100 value, cases of cleaning chemicals, and Armando bought every one lunch. He took
His time to help us and we appreciate it. Three hours made a difference, especially in this heat!

We need a Volunteer that will help us this afternoon. Lift up some boxes. There is no pay however you’ll receive multiple cleaning supplies enough to last you for a long time

If building up lives foundation schedules you for free food. Please have the courtesy to text or call that you won’t make it, if you can’t. We definitely understand at times it’s impossible to avoid life’s circumstances, but please make sure that you do at least a text back to us..
This is Food and We’re on a time limit to hand the food out. We want food to go out as fresh as possible so the day we pick up the food we handed it out.
We do not save food. This is more work for us. We want to continue doing it this way as it gives fresher food to the community and not something that’s been sitting in our refrigerator until that special day we hand out.
We take pride in giving good food to our community,, and when you don’t pick up that food is sitting and waiting for you to pick up. It could be given to a family or somebody else in need. 

Those of you that shout on social media “how you need Need Food” you’re starving and building up lives foundation makes arrangements for you to get free groceries.. and you do a no call no-show or don’t even answer us via text or email. Repeat offenders will be put on a list to not serve.

We’re all Volunteers and our time is extremely valuable. Most of our Volunteers labor way over 40 hours a week if not double to be able to bring this food to you for free and many of us pull from our very own pockets to pay for the expenses to bring this food to you.

If you don’t have respect, we just can’t serve you.
We served over 90,000 people last year.

Years ago our Executive Directors father paid it forward and gave away a gas can that he had his name on.. years later he ran out of gas and a stranger gave him the same can back to him. This happened in different states.

We see paying it forward work some amazing things 💜❤️💙

Our monthly rent is currently a little under $7,000 a month. We have two buildings

We are an ALL volunteer nonprofit, however we need to hire as we have grown and need the help
