We are a non profit museum dedicated to preserving the history of Rowan County Veterans and their artifacts. Rowan County Veterans Museum is an all volunteer, non-profit organization that is free to the public. The museum is located at the rear of Freedom Park on the old Rowan County Courthouse property in downtown Morehead, Kentucky. Our goal is honor our country, our flag, our military, and our

veterans. We are committed to educating our community and preserving military artifacts and the history of our veterans.

The Rowan County Veterans Museum is proud to announce its newest History 250 exhibit: “America: From Revolution to Republic.”

This powerful new experience invites visitors to trace the extraordinary journey from the turbulent days of the American Revolution to the hard-won birth of a republic defined by vision, sacrifice, and enduring ideals. Through thoughtfully curated artifacts, imagery, and narratives, the exhibit brings into focus the people and principles that transformed a rebellion into a nation.

As we approach the 250th anniversary of the United States, this exhibit offers more than a look back—it offers a moment to reflect on what was risked, what was built, and what continues to unite us.
