We held a Christmas party Bingo on December 23rd and everyone brought a little something to share. Afterwards, we took what was leftover to the local Morehead City Fire-EMS for a little Christmas Cheer.

Elks Care and Elks Share!

Community care starts with showing up, and we’re grateful for partners who do just that. Our Peer Support Specialist, Patrick Byan, recently met with the Morehead City - Beaufort Elks Lodge #1710 to present a Community Partner Appreciation Award and accept a generous donation supporting unsheltered individuals in Carteret County. When organizations like the Morehead City Elks Lodge stand beside us, lives are changed and hope is strengthened. Thank you for believing in our mission and for caring deeply for our neighbors in need.

Our Grant Committee members joined in with Carteret County Domestic Violence Fashion Show Fundraiser. Left to right: BJ Sutton, Gail Bryant, Trish Slape, Diane Apraham and Alice Mouraview. We gave them $1,500.00 this summer.

The Bingo Players and staff donated these items for Toys for Tots. This was our first delivery this year. We are working on our 2nd delivery prior to Christmas. Thanks to all those who have donated.

Morehead City/Beaufort Elks #1710 participated in the Carteret County Veterans parade on November 8th. Both Frank and BJ Sutton are retired veterans. The Elks support our Veterans and wear RED (Remember Everyone Deployed) every Friday.

We presented a check for $1,500.00 to Carteret County Domestic Violence Program at our Bingo session on September 23rd. Rosie Arroy spoke on what they do for our community to 90 Bingo players.
