NEXT MONTH, the Miss Louisiana Farm Festival Pageant returns! We’re excited to announce that the anticipation is building as we prepare to crown new Queens.

As we look forward, let’s take a moment to reflect on the past. Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Tashina Pierite,our 2013 Ms. Louisiana Farm Festival Queen. Tashina has continued to make our community proud, not only as a past Queen but also as a thriving entrepreneur.

Check out her business, Ruby Lee’s Sweets & Treats, right here in the Village of Moreauville. It’s more than just a sweet shop; it’s a testament to the spirit of our community and the legacy of our Queens.

Tonight’s MCDA meeting was a tremendous success! Attendees exchanged great ideas, and we solidified exciting plans for Moreauville. Thank you to everyone who participated and made the evening productive.

A special thank you goes out to Mayor Beryl Holmes for joining us and sharing her valuable insights. Her presence and the ideas she brought to the table were truly appreciated and will play a crucial role in shaping our upcoming initiatives.

We’d also like to thank Chief Nicholas Anthony Ducote and Alderman Shannon Sampson for being in attendance and helping to guide our planning efforts.

Thank you all for your continued support. Stay tuned for more updates as we work together to bring these exciting plans to the village of Moreauville.
