The tomatoes are starting to come! These veggies were picked tonight from the Moravia Hope Food Pantry Community Garden. Have some extra food from your garden? Your vegetables can also be distributed! Or if you have some time and want to help with the w**ding watering or harvesting let us know - many hands make for lighter work :)

Thank you to everyone who showed up to wrap up the Moravia Community Garden for our first season at Moravia Hope Food Pantry! Many hands made quick work, and in less than 90 minutes we had two compost bins filled and the old plants pulled out. There is both Swiss chard and kale still thriving, feel free to harvest 1/3 of each plant at a time. See you in the spring!

Happy Saturday garden friends! While there is not a pantry pickup until next Saturday, there are plenty of veggies to harvest out back. Many hot peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, summer squash, kale, chard, beets, other greens, cucumbers, onions and pole beans are ready to go home with you- some were already picked and are under the covered porch.

Happy Saturday garden friends!

We have a variety of tomatoes, greens, beets, hot peppers and onions ready to harvest as well as squash and cucumbers getting ready for next Saturday/pantry pickup.

Please remember this garden feeds about 40 families so take what you cannot otherwise buy for your meals and leave some for other families! This is the spirit of community gardening 🌻🌱🌻

I’ll try to upload some pics next, the site is a little wonky today 🙃
