We are in full swing for the 28th Annual Bikers for Forgotten Smiles Poker Run! The donation hunt is on!

Many local friends and community members have partnered with us to make this another record year!

On top of coming and participating the day of the run, we are also still looking for items to put into raffle baskets, gift certificates, complete baskets for raffle and as always monetary donations!

If you would like to be a sponsor level donor of $250 or more which includes your name and logo on the run shirt spots are still open for that as well.

You can also donate securely online at:
www.bikersforforgottensmiles.org/donate

We'd like to also shout out our current sponsor level donors as well:
Miamisburg Eagles #2306
937ink
Peerless Mill Inn & Brewery

HERE IT IS!!!
This is the link to order your 28th annual poker run shirts!
As most of you know, we pre-sell our poker run shirts in partnership with 937ink to minimize overpurchasing and maximize donations!
A portion of the sale of each shirt is donated back to the run. Major donors of $250 or more can be listed on the shirt as well.
Shirts will not be available the day of the event but can be ordered through this link and shipped directly to you!

The day will be here before you know it! And while we all wait in anticipation, our mission is to make this year's run the absolute best run ever!

So, WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

This run has never been possible without the generous help and support you guys have continually shown us, and for that we are truly grateful... But, it's time again!

We are getting a big jump on Poker Run prep and looking for the following:

1. Raffle baskets: You know what they are. Now can you put one or more together to donate for the big day? Even better, get together with some friends and make a few for the day of the event!

2. Individual items: Items we could combine together for a raffle basket. Items we could do silent auctions, door prizes, other things with? Even a nice bottle of wine or liquor (unopened of course, lol) can do wonders the day of the event!

3. Cash donations: You can donate by cash or check with any member or you can even donate securely online at our website at www.bikersforforgottensmiles.org/donate
And, donations over $250 will earn a sponsor spot on this year's t-shirts!

Which one do you prefer? More than one? THANKS!

Seriously, thank you all for everything you do for us every year!

Today, the National Council of Clubs (of which we are affiliated through the Ohio State Council of Clubs) issued a statement regarding a serious concern involving Easyriders Magazine and BikerNet.

This is not about politics or rivalries. It is about a line that should never be crossed.

An article titled “Confessions of an Outlaw,” published February 10, 2026, has been condemned for glorifying and exploiting the sexual abuse of a minor. Our position is clear: there is no justification for content that exploits children. It is immoral, dishonorable, and incompatible with the values of our motorcycle community.

We will no longer support or endorse Easyriders or BikerNet. Many across the community share this outrage and refuse to normalize what should never be normalized. This is about integrity and accountability.

Some things are debated.
Some things are boycotted.
Some things are simply not tolerated. For us, this is one of those moments.

Respectfully,

MEET DONALD WYATT KEETON!
2026 Bikers for Forgotten Smiles Poker Run Recipient!

Donald Wyatt Keeton was born on 3/11/25. He lived exclusively at the Children's Medical Center in Dayton. He was 4 weeks premature and weighed 4.5 lbs.

He was blind at birth, he had extreme difficulty feeding and was nourished through I.V.'s, and within days, surgery was performed to remove an intestinal obstruction. It was unsuccessful and required 2 more surgeries to complete the task.

Months later, while still having difficulty feeding, he was diagnosed with Alagille syndrome. Alagille syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that primarily affects the liver but can cause many other problems, such as heart defects, kidney problems, eye problems, pancreatic problems, delayed growth and development, etc. Often, a liver transplant is eventually required.

He will need to be nourished through a feeding tube and receive I.V.'s through a PICC line.

Donny has been home for a few months, but will continue to need extra care.

He can only feed through a tube and must remain plugged in about 20 hours a day. He still has trouble keeping food down.

He has been seen by a G.I. doctor frequently, but this may be permanent.

There are no plans in place for him to gain vision due to the risks involved with the current options; any surgery would pose a substantial risk to his health. The parents suspect that he has "some" ability to see in one eye.

He has grown to 14 # (as of 12/10/25), and that's a great thing! He is a playful kid who loves being held.

The parents, Dereck and Jennifer, are presently being trained to care for him.

Join us on June 13th, 2026, as we partner with Miamisburg Eagles #2306 for our annual Bikers for Forgotten Smiles Poker Run to help bring a bright spot to this young baby's life!

SEEKING NOMINATIONS FOR
2026 POKER RUN
RECIPIENT
HOW YOU CAN HELP!
As you may already know, Bikers for Forgotten Smiles hosts two main events each year. During the Christmas season, we focus on gathering toys and money to help families going through a rough time and make their holidays a little bit brighter!

Now we dive into the New Year, our mission turns once again to our Annual Poker Run!

We hold our Poker run each year on the second weekend in June, and our efforts focus on raising much-needed finances for a local child with extensive medical needs and expenses.

We are currently looking for nominations for a recipient for this year's Poker Run. If you know of a family that has a child with extensive medical issues, and little or no outside support in fundraising, and you think would be a great fit for this annual event, please send their name, background story, and contact info for the parents/guardians to: [email protected]

If you have any questions or need more information please don't hesitate to reach out at: [email protected]

Once again, without all of you, we could not do we what do! Thank you for your continued support!
