We loved welcoming students from Hearthstone School for a North State Food Bank field trip organized by Mindful Littles! Students learned how a food bank operates and the important role it plays as a community resource. We’re grateful for opportunities to help young learners connect with their community.

The power of community never ceases to amaze! Thanks to all the kids and their families who joined us at our Diaper Bundling event last week. Together more than 60 of us bundled more than 4,200 diapers. What a beautiful way to wrap up 2024!

Much gratitude to City of Orinda Parks and Recreation Department for hosting us at Winterfest, the youth volunteers for their energy and support, and for lending us the wonderful Jen to talk about the diaper bank's purpose and distribute the diapers to families in need.
