Over 350 people braved the cold and snow to view our Vasaloppet Art Show. We thank them all for coming and supporting the arts. They voted on their favorites in 3 categories. The first category was "Which artwork evokes an emotional response?" The winners were Keith Raivo's "Weight of the World, Dennis Olson's "Fran", Val Raivo's "Throwing Down the Gauntlet" and Jeff Bracken's "Morning Glow".

Surelle Strike, Education Director at the Hallberg Center for the Arts in Wyoming, Minnesota, provided an informative commentary on the art in our Vasaloppet Art Show on Friday evening. She chose 3 pieces that she felt the artist demonstrated exceptional talent. "Wildings" by Melinda Cloose, "Slab Crappie" by Ryan Craig and "Snow Bunny" by Mary Poelman.
